Being married to a Parsi, dhansak is indespensible. So I learnt to make my own Dhansak masala. We use it as an everyday masala in the Parsi cuisine and well what is a good Dhansak and brown rice without the fragrant dhansak masala? It has been approved by all the Parsis who have eaten at my home. They even took away some to cook in their own kitchens.
